Individuals
Although my approach is evidence-driven this is only a part of the story. One of the criticisms of performance psychology is that it can be too abstract. The real art is making these concepts more accessible and of practical value to coaches and athletes. I recognise that all performers are unique individuals, and it is about more than giving you a tool kit of mental techniques. I will help you become more aware of the thoughts and feelings that support or hinder your performance. More importantly, I aim to give you practical solutions to help you develop as a person and performer.

Teams
I look to incorporate an inclusive approach that involves working with the coaches, players and the multidisciplinary sport science team (where applicable). A crucial part of this work is building the right culture to act as the foundation that underpins the other group processes that lead to optimal team functioning.

About - GFG
I am based in North-West London, I travel for face-to-face appointments and also provide virtual sport psychology sessions. I am a member of the British Psychological Society and Division of Sport and Exercise Psychology which ensures my practice is driven by trustworthy, impactful evidence-based solutions. I was lead performance psychologist for FA Women’s Championship team The London Bees 2021/22. I work from a truly holistic perspective (mind, body and spirit). As part of an integrative approach, the solutions I offer typically involve, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychological skills training, elements of Jungian psychology and Logotherapy to ensure I understand the people I work with.
The Approach
There is no dividing line between you as a performer and you as a human being. In recent years performance psychology has recognised the importance of understanding the processes that drive performers both inside and outside of competition. I practice a holistic whole-person approach that supports both peak performance and overall wellbeing.
